Skourochori
Intense green fruit
Our most expressive cuvée — a green, intense fruitiness that apologises for nothing.
Skourochori is known by its herbal, anise-like notes, a frank bitterness and a lively pungency — the signature of olives picked early, by hand, and cold-pressed within hours. It is the cuvée that chef Éric Briffard, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, keeps within reach.
85 olive trees · 250 years and older · a hill facing the Ionian Sea · the great-grandfather's grove, returned to the family after more than a century
The story
The story begins with a return. After seventeen years away and a life in the boardroom, Stylianos came back to the village. For his fiftieth birthday, his children gave him an olive tree — “Papa, you always dreamed of olive trees.” He was born on the 26th of November, the day UNESCO dedicated to the olive tree. Ten days later, his uncle called: his great-grandfather's grove, out of the family for more than a century, was for sale. He bought it. Oikos Antalis was born.
